Epstein purchased a more modest island - the Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but acquired the larger Great St James in 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
The released images indicate he had created plans to transform the 161-acre island by constructing living quarters, an amphitheatre, an submerged workspace and a pool.
You can see the blueprint is a local waterway, a waterway in the territory, noted on the south-eastern section.
The site plan is annotated in handwritten red notes and features a legend detailing various sections of the estate.
Accompanying the main plan are what seem to be an additional nine site drawings and architectural plans, including plans for boat shelters.
